LeBron Decision
I can't blame LeBron James for leaving Cleveland. But he did it the wrong way.
I can't blame Cavs fans for being angry.
I cheer for the Red Sox. Trust me, I've seen good players come and go.
James has the right to play where he wants, and if I were him-- I'd be in Miami too. And while some of the fan backlash shown on TV last night was absurd and cliche, LeBron invited it with the way he went through this idiotic and ego-driven process.
ESPN had sports fans (I'll be polite here)-- by the, um, seat of our pants. LeBron bought into the method and collectively they manipulated, duped and dragged us through the process.
Had I been home, I wouldn't have watched.
I love sports on TV. But I have a love-hate relationship with the Worldwide Leader. On Thursday, they registered high on the hate-o-meter. I watched because I had to. Otherwise, I would have gotten the news off Twitter or another website. I'm too smart and too busy to be sucked into the ESPN's pit of self-importance.
